Southern Stars over Southern MountainsPosted by Aaron Blatt (Burlington VT, United States) on 5 November 2008 in Miscellaneous. Shot from 12 Mile Delta outside of Queenstown New Zealand with a remote trigger and a fisheye. I'm not much of an astronomer, but I imagine that you get a tighter 'star streak circle' (and I'm also sure there is a name for this that doesn't sound ridiculous as well) like this the closer you are to the axis' of the earth.
