old man and the.....

I got kind of frustrated today and hung out in illustrator for a minute. I pulled from this photo I took a couple of months ago that didn't quite work out. It was of this chef at a barbecue. I really liked how he looked, especially his strange beard; however I didn't photograph him the way I wanted to. This is exactly how I pictured the old man and the sea from hemingway's book.... I brought it through lightroom after I finished up in illustrator, and couldn't pick if I liked it hot or cold, so I took both into photoshop and brought the clouds around to combine the frames. I missed dollar wednesdays at the video store, and now I won't watch any movies this week. Tell me what you think about this illustration so I can make it better please.
